Brendan is 2 today

HaPpY 2nd BiRtHdAy BRENDAN

A 2yr old is like using a blender... without the lid! The past 2 years have flown by, just like I knew they would! Brendan started his terrible two's early as he has dumped a container of veg oil on my couch, Brought a mouse in the house by it's tail with the dog, laughing and saying "Ewwe, bug" (Now that was one big bug!) And of course dumping buckets of sand on the carpet in the house. If you're thinking someone needs to watch this kid better, you have NEVER had a 2 yr old BOY! They move faster than lightning :) I always said I would never have a boy, for partially this reason, I have to say now, My boy is my favorite little buddy, he keeps me busy, but also keeps me smiling!

Mommy is Brendans security blanket. God must have known I'd have cuddly kids that's why I was given the perfect hips to carry them :)

I was just reminissing to Jamie about how I had bought the best record when I was little. I got it with birthday money from my Uncle Sam and Aunt Viv. I listened to it and loved it SOooo much! One day I took it to school for show & tell. On my way home, it fell out of the record sleeve and broke on the side walk :(

No matter how much I looked I can't find this exact one for sale. It had the best stories. My favorite was Rapunzel. But anyway I found a pic of the cover! I was so excited when I saw it! I had to share :)

On a good note, sitting and cuddling him has given me time to do a little blogging.

In my mind, the temp is 90, I'm on a floating loungechair in that top pool, and there is no wind!

NM has crazy wind, no tornadoes or hurricanes,but gross, brown sky, pet stealing wind.

OK... ummm.. My pets are still with me.

but, back to the point, this is where I want to be :)

The kids and I needed to get out of the house while daddy did some remodeling. Grandma joined in on the fun and we all went to visit Kristen and Katelyn in Phoenix. The weather this winter seemed to stay cold forever! It was So nice to go and soak up some much needed sun :)

We loved going to the Zoo while we were in Phoenix for Spring break!!! We went with Kristin, Katelyn, Donovans Family and Grandma. Everyone went seperate ways, probably because we doddled a lot :) My kids favorite part was pretending to be animals and playing with the pretend animals. We enjoyed grandma sticking with us for the fun. The kids also loved the petting Zoo. I'd have pics to share, but I took so many my camera died.

Another new nice in town

Our first new neice of the new year. Meet Eden Noel Huffman. Donovan and Kristins new little sweetie.

Trinity Chris and Shalon's Christmas present to us all! Our new Niece TRINITY was born in December!

We are excited to announce we now have a new nephew on his way as Adam and Kristen are expecting their 2nd.

The Family is GROWING!!

SNOW DAY!!!

Sun was shining, roads were clear, but yes we had a snow day.

Welcome

Farmington!

We did have snow the day before though, LOTS!

Because of the sun, it was pretty slushy out. As a family, we enjoyed going to Brookside park to Sled.

Kyla started us on builing a snow man. She rolled the snow balls all by herself. Dad came to join the fun,stacked them and helped artistically sculpt a hat, nose, and mouth.

Golden Pen Award

At the award assembly, one or two kids in every class recieves the Golden pen award. My Beautiful smart girls are recognized for their creativity as they both got the Golden Pen Award this 9 Weeks. Their report cards came soon after reflecting straight A's for both. We are very proud of them!!!
